Watching ‘Somewhere’ and I should be hating it but there’s just something about the way Coppola fetishes ennui: like, we all experience it, so it might as well be while you’re at the Chateau Marmont doing drugs and having sex and playing video games and driving through LA right?  I mean if you’re gonna do ennui you might as well do it properly, and Stephen Dorff seems to do it properly in ‘Somewhere’.  View high resolution
